Chris Brown is being investigated on assault charges after his alleged brawl with Frank Ocean.
The fight is said to have started on Sunday when both musicians were at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles and became involved in an argument over a parking space.
TMZ reported earlier that police were called to the scene after a brawl between both camps ensued - with claims that nobody wanted to press charges.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have confirmed that deputies responded to a report of "six men fighting" on Sunday night.
According to Radar Online, the department says the altercation, "allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim."
Although the victim has not been named, Frank took to Twitter a few hours later, writing: "got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there. cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys. (sic)"
No arrests have been made.
Chris is notorious for his brushes with the law - most notably for his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 on the eve of the Grammy Awards. He was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service.
Last year the singer was involved in a bar brawl with rapper Drake in a New York City nightclub, with his attorney claiming Drake was the instigator.
