Chris Brown is over wasting his time on "bulls**t and sh*tty people".
The 26-year-old musician is currently banned from leaving the Philippines after a dispute over a contract, an official news agency from the country reported yesterday. Although he performed a scheduled show on Tuesday evening, it's thought the order was issued by promoters who advertised a concert he was meant to attend on New Year's Eve.
Amid his troubles, Chris has taken to social media with an optimistic outlook.
"That moment u wake up and realise who the f**k you are and how blessed you've been and finally understand you don't need anyone for anything except GOD! Then u realise how much time you wasted on bulls**t and sh*tty people! (sic)" he posted on Instagram alongside a photo of himself smiling in a black beanie hat and green jacket.
Chris has made no secret of how baffled he is that he's being kept in the Philippines. In one video posted online the star is seen clowning around as he asks the camera what's going on, while in another he starts break dancing after raising his hands in the air and stating: "Sir I didn't do nothing."
He cancelled his gig on December 31 at the last minute, leaving the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena empty, as he reportedly lost his passport.
Chris has had a tough time of late; earlier this month armed robbers broke into his Californian home and held his aunt at gunpoint. TMZ reports the singer thinks people close to him were behind the crime and while no further details have been released yet, it's thought Nia Guzman - mother to his 13-month-old daughter Royalty - is worried. Chris' fatherhood was only revealed earlier this year, much to the surprise of fans and his then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
