Chris Brown has shared a funny image on Instagram, hours after talking about the "devil ruining your life".
The singer, known as Breezy to his fans, has had an eventful week after armed robbers descended on his house, holding his aunt at gunpoint.
In the wake of the break-in, TMZ reported that the intruders were people Chris hung out with. This has obviously weighed heavily on his mind, and earlier he posted a lengthy message on the photo sharing app venting his frustrations.
"When u tired of the f**king devil ruining your life and u hear God speak for the first time. No one knows what I deal with on a day to day. The average man wouldn't hesitate to blow his f**king brains out but that's the cowards way out... Most won't understand the genius and beauty in change and learning and the people who have devilish intentions will win in the short term (sic)," he captioned a snap of him on stage.
The 26-year-old goes on to say his soul will always be pure.
This is the first time Chris has seemingly addressed the violent crime that took place last week.
"What's on the surface always looks like one big party but inside there is a little boy looking for help and guidance," he continued. "People say "be a man". Yeah, that's right but it doesn't take away any pain you really go through. I just wanna stay out the way and do music. Most importantly and great father. I don't have any more patience for anything that will cause me to self destruct!! (sic)."
The singer surprised fans earlier this year when it was announced he'd had daughter Royalty with Nia Guzman.
Chris didn't stay downhearted for too long though, and kept fans amused with a grinning picture of himself with the words "Chris looking at Twitter like 'for once it ain't me'" across the top.
