Chris Brown allegedly thinks some of his close friends are behind the armed raid on his house.
Last week masked men descended on the singer's Californian pad, holding his aunt at gun point before locking her in a closet and ransacking the place.
TMZ reported the robbers were keeping tabs on Chris and knew he was at a Hollywood nightclub at the time they struck. Now the news outlet claims Chris is suspicious the break-in was masterminded by people he knew - and not just casual acquaintances, but good friends.
TMZ's police sources have also suggested it might be more of an inside job, rather than a random attack.
The website reports that cops think LA gang the Bloods are somehow involved too and that a member of LAPD's Gang Unit was assigned the case.
Chris has yet to comment on the crime but it's thought Nia Guzman, the mother of his young daughter Royalty, is worried about the situation. Nia reportedly thinks the robbery shows that some of Chris' friends have turned on him.
However it's business as usual for the singer, and he's taken to Twitter to post a series of messages regarding upcoming shows.
It's also been suggested Chris could be reuniting with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who he physically assaulted in 2009, on a new song.
"I think there might be a dope Rihanna and Chris Brown song coming this year," sources told urbanislandz.com. "These two have collaborated before and make dope hit music so when they come together you can expect something crazy. This is something that they have been talking about for a while now but it was his idea original to get her on his upcoming album. She agreed that they should do another song so it's almost a done deal."
