Chris Brown reportedly suffered a seizure Friday morning.
The 24-year-old R&B musician was recording music at the Record Plant studios in Hollywood when the incident allegedly occurred.
According to TMZ, an emergency call was placed to 911 from the location at around 1:09am and paramedics swiftly arrived on the scene.
When they got there Chris is said to have "refused treatment and [he] also refused to be transported to the hospital".
It is not known at this time whether Chris in fact did have a seizure, but he was afflicted by similar fits as a child.
His mother Joyce apparently flew into California from the state of Virginia immediately to be by her son's side, X17 Online reports.
The star's representatives have not yet commented on the incident.
At approximately 2pm on Monday, Chris reportedly entered the Van Nuys, California jail where he was booked and released on his own recognisance for his alleged hit-and-run offence.
The Los Angeles District Attorney's office brought misdemeanour charges against Chris after he was involved in a minor fender bender in May.
Alleged victim Olga Gure-Kovalenko claimed Chris didn't share his insurance information or his driver's licence at the scene, an offence in California.
While Gure-Kovalenko has reportedly decided not to move forward with the case, the DA is continuing to pursue it.
He pled not guilty to the charges and will next visit court to address the alleged hit-and-run violation on August 15.
