Chris Brown is taking his relationship with Rihanna slowly.
The 'Yeah 3x' hitmaker - who was convicted of his assaulting the R&B superstar in February 2009 - says he and the 'Diamonds' singer are 'good', but their busy work schedules mean they can't be together as much as they would like.
He told the USA Today newspaper: 'We're good. We're taking it one day at a time. She's a wonderful girl. She's beautiful. She's on tour and our schedules don't allow us to be as close as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album.'
Chris and Rihanna have faced a huge backlash since getting back together, but the 23-year-old singer is determined to 'prove' himself and be a better person.
He added: 'There's still a lot for me to prove. I have a lot of goals and ambition. I'm going to be better in the future.'
And the 'Look at Me Now' hitmaker insists he has a much more 'positive' attitude these days.
He said: 'I'm focused on my path, on being more positive and on the up and up.'
