Typically when Chris Brown has taken to social media lately it's to defend himself or get back at someone who is taking shots at him.
But after Adele took to Twitter on Wednesday to clear up confusion about a photo from last weekend's Grammys in which many speculated that she was berating Breezy, Brown offered up a heartfelt thanks for the defense.
"Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele I heard your words and that's all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB," he tweeted on Thursday.
The response came after speculation grew rampant that in the picture in question, Adele was speaking forcefully at a confused-looking Brown after he failed to stand up to salute Best Urban Contemporary Album winner (and recent studio brawl rival ) Frank Ocean.
"Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually," Adele tweeted, finally clearing up the confusion about what was happening in the pic. In fact, if you looked at the half-dozen other shots in the series, you could clearly see that the two were smiling in them and standing side-by-side in what looked like a friendly embrace.
Brown also took time out on Thursday to send out some Valentine's Day wishes to the other ladies in his life. "CB: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all the beautiful women in the world," he wrote. "Our Queens ... Our mothers, sisters, and daughters. I love you."
His once-again sweetie Rihanna appeared to send a sweet and sticky-icky response, posting a picture of a pot-leaf-shaped bundle of buds sprouting from a blunt with the message, "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy."
