Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have reportedly called it quits on their romance.
The 33-year-old Dip It Low singer suffered huge personal tragedies last month, as her nephew died just hours after her sister Danielle gave birth.
And it seems August was even more heartbreaking for Christina as ET Online reports she and rapper Lil Wayne broke up around the time her sibling's baby died.
Everything seemed to be going well between them as early as Saturday August 22, the day they performed a sexy set together at the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival in Jones Beach, New York. It is unknown why they have gone their separate ways.
Christina and the 32-year-old Lollipop rapper were first romantically linked in July 2014, but she didn't start speaking about their relationship publicly until just a few months ago.
Christina is mother to five-year-old daughter Violet with her songwriter ex-husband The-Dream and Lil Wayne has four children of his own.
And in an interview with Us Weekly last June, she gushed about how well their families were merging together.
"They know and recognise each other - he's very much a part of my life and Violet is very much a part of my relationship," she explained to Us Weekly magazine.
"She is very close to her dad, so Violet has her dad in her life, she has us in her life, so in time [they'll develop a closer bond]. It'll take some time."
Christina also told ET Online in the past hooking up with Lil Wayne romantically was a no-brainer, as the passion was intense.
"For me, I'm so inspired by the relationship that I'm in that it's definitely an experience," she gushed to the outlet. "It's that careless, hopeless, romantic love – that feeling of 'I will do anything for you.'"
