Christina Milian's daughter Violet is her "best friend".
The 33-year-old songstress has a little girl from her previous relationship with singer The-Dream, and she turns five years old next month. Now she's opened up about how much she's enjoying having the child in her life.
"Her and I are like best friends and that's one thing that I love about her," she told Tamera Mowry-Housley during an episode of new American talk show The Real. "Who knows with those teenage years, but I'm enjoying the moment right now."
The show's host is expecting a child of her own. Christina took a moment to rave about how much she likes motherhood, in an effort to get Tamera excited.
"It's so sweet. I just love having a daughter so congratulations. That's going to be exciting. You're going to have a beautiful baby," she told her.
Christina maintains a singing career under Lil' Wayne's record label Young Money. But when she's not recording or performing, she's spending time with her daughter who is developing quite the personality.
"Violet is a girly girl. She's definitely a little diva. I actually don't remember myself being as girly as she is," Christina laughed. "But she's super sassy and saucy. Like, she wobbles her little neck. She knows how to dance. She does the whole deal."
Meanwhile, Christina's new reality TV show Christina Milian Turned Up premiered on E! this past weekend.
It will surely include her musical partner and rumoured boyfriend Lil' Wayne. She's not yet confirmed they're dating, but almost did during Watch What Happens Live recently.
"Lil Wayne and I are really close. We have a very close personal relationship and I really like him a lot. We have a great chemistry," Christina told the audience.
