Chuck Prophet and Mark Eitzel have announced that they will be performing at the first Luminaire Festival of American Music, at The Luminaire, 311 Kilburn High Street, London NW6, in October.
The festival, which runs from Monday 1st to Sunday 14th, features some of the finest, most intelligent music to come out of American in the past 20 years.

Guitar singer extraordinaire Chuck Prophet and his band the Mission Express will be opening the festival on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd October.
Mark Eitzel will be closing the festival on Sunday 14th October, playing some material from his band, the American Music Club's, new album 'The Golden Age', due for release in Spring 2008.
This show will be a taster for the album in a solo acoustic setting. Mark will also be playing music from his 15-album strong back catalogue.
The Guardian recently called Mark "America's Greatest Living lyricist" and he has previously been awarded "Songwriter of the Year" by Rolling Stone magazine.
Mark has often been compared to the likes of Nick Drake and his London shows have become legendary.
