Cissy Houston is concerned about how her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina is coping with her mother's death.
Legendary singer Whitney Houston, Cissy's daughter and Bobbi Kristina's mom, passed away last year.
She died at the age of 48 on February 11 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
Whitney battled with drugs for a long time and it is rumoured that Bobbi Kristina also experimented with narcotics.
Cissy revealed her worries for Bobbi Kristina in detail in her new book Remembering Whitney.
"She's not handling it good," Cissy wrote.
"None of us are. Of course I worry about her. Bobbi Kristina is 19 and if you know anything about a 19-year-old, they think they know it all. It doesn't mean that she is going to follow her [mother's] same path. She could but anybody could. I don't want to jinx her. I'm trying to make sure she doesn't."
Cissy filed court papers last fall requesting that payments made to her granddaughter from Whitney's estate be altered.
Apparently Cissy believed that Bobbi Kristina was unable to make wise decisions about how to use that money and is upset about the teenager's romance with ex-fiancé Nick Gordon.
The family feuds have reportedly since been resolved.
