Cissy Houston is reportedly planning on visiting the hotel room where her daughter Whitney Houston died.
The 78-year-old singer wants to go to the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles to get "closure," TMZ claims.
The I Will Always Love You star died on February 11 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in the luxury hotel and was buried next to her father in her home town of Newark, New Jersey, a week later.
Cissy apparently wants to make a "spiritual connection" with her superstar daughter to help her deal with the 48-year-old's sudden death.
"[She] won't be at peace until she gets closure," the source said adding that Cissy wants to spend some "quiet, contemplative time" in the room.
"It is unclear when Cissy plans to return to the hotel room – but we're told the visit will be soon… she's currently planning out the logistics," reports the site
Room 434 is already back in circulation and the family apparently stripped the room first so that nothing from the now infamous suite could be sold or taken.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the post-production on Whitney's final movie Sparkle is being hurried so it can be finished as soon as possible.
Sources told TMZ that staff are working "around the clock" to get the final cut done and the building where the film is being edited is surrounded by tight security to prevent any scenes from the film or music from the soundtrack being leaked.
