Coldplay are to play an intimate gig ahead of the release of new album ‘X&Y'.
The London show will be screened globally by MTV on June 5, the day before the album's release, however the station will be giving fans from around the world the chance to win tickets next month.
"It's really cool that fans are flying in from all over the world to see us," said Chris Martin of the shows. "We'll try and make it worth their effort."
Drummer Will Champion added the show will largely feature new material.
"We can't wait to play songs from 'X&Y' to our fans," he said. "We wish everyone the best of luck in the competition."
Additionally, the band, who will headline this year's Glastonbury Festival on June 25, are playing a series of UK and Ireland shows in June.
