Coldplay have admitted that they don't expect to win any awards at next week's BRITS.
The band, whose album 'Mylo Xyloto' is nominated for album of the year, say they face competition from Adele.
Speaking to Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2, Martin said: "Unless Adele somehow deletes her albums, I think we can come to the conclusion that [we won't win anything]. I'm pretty sure of it."
He added: "We haven't done a red carpet for a long time.
"We love these things (award shows) but red carpets are more for nice ladies. We look like the cleaners coming in to vacuum up!"
Meanwhile, The Coldplay frontman will accompany Noel Gallagher on stage during his performance slot at the ceremony.
