Coldplay played an intimate show at Camden Dingwalls last night (December 6).
The band's last show at the 500-capacity London venue was back in 1998 just after they released their debut EP 'Safety'.
The show was part of a BBC Radio 2 In Concert and was aid to radio listeners.
During a shaky opener for 'Hurts Like Heaven', Martin said: "This is worse than 14 years ago," he said. "We ****ed that up as well. Come on, we're a professional band for ****'s sake."
He later added: This is like playing for our family. It's so ****ing small. I've got more cousins than this.
He continued: "We're used to lasers and posh stuff, and now we've got nothing but our instruments and our handsome bass player."
The show saw Coldplay perform a number of tracks from their back-catalogue including 'Yellow' and 'The Scientist','Paradise' and 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'.

Meanwhile, Coldplay have announced five stadium shows set to take place next summer.
The band, who released their fifth studio album 'Mylo Xyloto' on October 24, will play four football stadiums around the UK throughout May and June.
