The new Coldplay album is finished and is now being mixed, according to the band's manager.
The band have been working on the follow-up to 2005's "X&Y" over the last 12 months and Dave Holmes claims it is "their best album".
Produced by Brian Eno, Coldplay and Markus Dravs, the record, which is rumoured to be called "Prospekt", is due out this summer.
Manager Holmes has confirmed that work is almost complete, explaining: "They're in the final mixing (stage).
"They'll start mastering, and away we go. I think it's their best album. They've really delivered. It's a fantastic record", he said.
Meanwhile, Holmes also offered some insight into the group's plans for live dates, off the back of the record.
Speaking to Billboard, he said set designer and lighting expert Paul Normandale will be involved in the production of the stage show.
He said: "If we can pull this off it's going to be quite different. We're going to try something a little different in the arena space."
