The tour will include a two-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl in the spring.
The tour kicks off April 17 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and the Hollywood Bowl concerts are scheduled for May 1-2.
Coldplay, fronted by Gwyneth Paltrow's husband Chris Martin, is touring in support of its recently released CD, Mylo Xyloto.
The album includes the Grammy-nominated singles Every Teardrop IS A Waterfall, up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, and Paradise, lo nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
