Coldplay have released details of their forthcoming third album to be released in on June 6.
It will be called 'X&Y', and will be proceeded by the single 'Speed of Sound' which will be out on May 23. "We wanted to try new things out, to move our sound along, but the focus remains on the songs. And Chris's voice is sounding amazing. Everyone is playing at the top of their game." Jonny Buckland told the bands official website.
Following the release of the album the band will embark on their biggest world tour to date and have so far confirmed Elbow, Doves, Interpol, Supergrass and Morning Runner as the support acts for the European dates.

Dublin Marlay Park (22) (Support from Interpol and Morning Runner)
London Crystal Palace Athletics Stadium (27-28) (Morning Runner support on both dates, Interpol on 27, and Supergrass on 28)
Glasgow Bellahouston Park (July 1-2) (Support from Supergrass and Morning Runner)
Bolton Reebok Stadium (4-5) (Morning Runner support at both shows, Elbow on 4th, Doves on 5th)
