Overview
Coldplay have confirmed they are to headline both the Optimus Alive Festival in Portugal and BBK in Bilbao in Spain.
The sixth edition of the Bilbao BBK Live festival will take place from the 7th-9th July.
The London rockers are currently working on the follow-up to 2008's 'Viva La Vida'.
Speaking to Xfm the band confirmed the new material will be more guitar based than the previous album.
The four-piece are again working with Brian Eno producing and Markus Dravs - who has also worked with Mumford & Sons, Arcade Fire and the Maccabees.
