Coldplay are desperate to sing with Take That tonight (18.02.09).
Both acts are set to take to the stage at the BRIT Awards this evening and later on Coldplay, fronted by Chris Martin, are heading to a War Child charity show where they will play live.
Chris insists it would be a dream come true if the 'Patience' hitmakers joined them onstage at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London.
Chris - whose band are nominated for four BRITs - told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It's going to be a big party and if the Take That gentlemen come down it will be really great.
"My dream is that by tomorrow morning we would have performed a song with Take That - that would make me really happy."
The group - who have performed Take That's 'Back For Good' during recent live shows - were hoping to suggest the collaboration at BRITs rehearsals which took place yesterday (17.02.09).
However, they were left disappointed upon being informed Take That - Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - had already left.
A source explained: "Chris came in for rehearsals and was asking to be introduced to Gary but they had gone."
The BRIT Awards take place tonight at London's Earls Court and will also feature performances from The Killers, U2, Girls Aloud and the Pet Shop Boys.
