Coldplay have topped the nominations list for the 51st Ivor Novello Awards.
The band are up for three gongs with 'Speed Of Sound' featuring in the shortlists for International Hit Of The Year and Most Performed Work, while 'Fix You' is nominated for Best Song Musically And Lyrically.
Arctic Monkeys will be up against Coldplay in the Best Song Musically And Lyrically category with 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' as will KT Tunstall with 'Suddenly I See'.
Gorillaz's 'DARE' has been tipped in the Best Contemporary Song field along with Kaiser Chiefs' 'I Predict A Riot' and Athlete's 'Wires'.
James Blunt's 'You're Beautiful' is in line for two awards - Most Performed Work and International Hit Of The Year.
Other nominees include Robbie Williams and Natalie Imbruglia.
The 51st Ivor Novello Awards are set to take place at London's Grosvenor House on May 25.
