The hotel chain Travelodge carried out a survey to find which act is the most sleep-inducing.
It also found that 84% of people use music to relax before they go to sleep.
A sleep expert from Edinburgh Sleep Centre said: 'Results from various sleep studies undertaken with a variety of male and female groups has indicated that listening to soft, relaxing music at bedtimes leads to a number of different benefits to a night's sleep.
'These benefits include a longer sleep duration period, fewer night time awakenings and shortening of the time it takes to fall asleep.'
Singer Michael Buble came in second place, with band Snow Patrol coming third.
