COLDPLAY were really nervous about playing the UK as part of their world tour.
The band played Manchester's Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Saturday, the first date in Britain since their Viva La Vida tour began in June.
Frontman Chris Martin said: "It feels like we have been away for a long time. The four of us were feeling really nervous about coming back home."
But he said the reaction from the audience soon put them at ease adding that the 50,000-strong had "given us a better reception than we could possibly have asked for".
He said: "It is a bit like when Stefan Dennis went back to Neighbours - he didn't know what the reaction would be."
