The British rockers have used their celebrity contacts to organise Under 1 Roof, a benefit concert in aid of the London-based children’s charity, which works with vulnerable children and young people in some of the capital’s most deprived areas.
Singer Emeli Sande, rapper Tinie Tempah, and comedians Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan – appearing as his alter-ego Alan Partridge – are among some of the stars set to perform at the 10 December gig at London’s O2 Arena, along with the Grammy Award-winning rockers themselves.
A statement on the group’s website read: 'Kids Company is a phenomenal organisation that is very close to our hearts. We hope that people get behind the event to raise as much money for Kids Company as possible.
“On our side, we can promise anyone that buys a ticket that they'll be part of a very special night [sic].'
