Crisis is the UK charity for single homeless people. The gigs will be held at secret venues in Liverpool on December 19 and in Newcastle on December 20.
Both venues have a capacity of around 1000 people. 200 tickets are going to be held back for locals.
Friends of the band Ant & Dec will be on hand in Newcastle to compère the night.
Supporting Coldplay on both dates will be the Choir with No Name, an acclaimed vocal choir made up of homeless people and others on the fringes of society, including clients of Crisis, more details as they come in.
