The UK singles chart takes a back seat with all eyes on one of the most impressive album chart in years.
Coldplay and The White Stripes went head to head this week, both releasing new albums on ‘Super Monday' (June 6) and as predicted it is the Brits who have won out.
Coldplay's ‘X&Y' sits on top of the charts, while The White Stripes' ‘Get Behind Me Satan' enters at number three.
This week also saw the release of The Tears debut album ‘Here Comes The Tears' which has gone in at number 15, while Oasis' album ‘Don't Believe The Truth' which was top last week, drops to number two.
Meanwhile in the UK Singles Chart, The Crazy Frog remains at number one, while U2's 'City Of Blinding Lights' is this week's highest new entry at number two.
