Damon Albarn has spoken out on his heroin use again, stating he doesn't see discussing the drug as a "mistake".
In a previous interview with Q Magazine, the Blur frontman revealed that he had tried the drug and he found it to be "very creative". However commenting further on the confession, he felt the need to reiterate that the use never became habitual and was simply a chapter that was part of him growing up.
"I don't totally see it as a mistake. That's the point. It was part of me growing up. Look, I didn't go out and look for it," he said speaking to Time Out. "I turned up at my house and there it was, made on the table. What should I have done? Leave my life and reject it or stay in my own house with my girlfriend and somehow assimilate it into my life?"
Meanwhile Albarn has also put old rivalries to rest and has revealed that a collaboration with Noel Gallagher is now a very real possibility. He told the NME: "I still see Noel from time to time. We text a bit," Albarn says.
When asked if the pair would be making a record together, he replied, "I can imagine that being a very distinct possibility at some point in the future. But, as yet we haven't really talked about it, although…"
