Video footage of what is reported to be a new Blur track, 'The Puritan', has emerged online. Watch the video below.
During a solo show, Damon performs the track acoustically while sat on an empty stage. The track is the first to emerge amid ongoing confusion over the future of Blur - with conflicting reports from band members and producers on the future of the band and the status of their recording sessions. He even gets the audience singing along with the previously unknown song.
Earlier this year, Damon appeared to suggest that the Blur's Hyde Park show this summer would be the band's last - but later retracted the statement and said: "I love being in that band. When I’m in the middle of it I forget about all the pretentious angst I have about it and have a brilliant time."
