Daryl Hall will continue to invite music artists over to his house for some jamming with the renewal of Live From Daryl's House for 2014.
Live From Daryl's House originally premiered in 2007 as a monthly streaming series that paired Hall and his band with a guest artist, trading songs from their repertoires, along with conversations with the artist. The first few seasons were only available from Hall's official site until a 2010 New Year's Eve special, compiling performances from throughout the series, proved the series was viable on broadcast TV.
Since that time, Live From Daryl's House has begun airing in syndication, on MTV's HD Paladia Network, VH1 and RFD-TV. The show will continue on all venues.
Rick Krim of VH1 said in a statement "For Palladia, Live From Daryl's House represents the perfect match of programming and television network. Our viewers' response has been overwhelmingly positive to Daryl and the series which captures the unexpected magic that can happen when talented artists relax and create music together. We're proud to be a part of this show."
Hall added "I'm thrilled to be able to start producing these new shows for our ever-widening audience, after renewing our relationship with Palladia. A day doesn't go by that I don't hear from fans about how much they love the show, and everyone knows how much I enjoy doing it. Believe me when I tell you, the best is yet to come."
The guest list for the upcoming season will be announced in the coming weeks.
