Delta Goodrem in close friendship with male music colleague?

Aussie Delta, who is based in LA, has just split from fiancé Brian McFadden after seven years but she insists she and the former Westlife star are still close and no-one else was involved in the breakup.

Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper has now quoted a source close to Delta saying, 'She has been spending a lot of time with her new circle of friends in LA and realised that she hasn't really been missing Brian for a while.

'She has been lonely and then there has been this friendship with him [the colleague].'

The friendship has been dismissed by Delta's spokesperson, who said, 'This rumour is a complete fabrication.'

The newspaper also reports that Brian was spotted 'openly propositioning girls' at the Beach Haus nightclub in Sydney last Tuesday, three days before the split was announced.

He is also said to have caused a scene at Melbourne's Rockpool restaurant earlier in the week by verbally abusing staff.

Brian is now thought to be in Perth where he has been filming auditions for the new series of Australia's Got Talent.

Brian is a judge on the show.
