Singers Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have joined the line-up of American Music Awards performers.
The ceremony will take place on 22 November 2015 and the official Twitter account has updated its roster of musicians, adding Confident singer Demi and Levels crooner Nick.
"I'm CONFIDENT you'll (love) the next #AMAs PERFORMER announced. @ddlovato will SLAY the stage on 11/22! #DemiOnAMAs," they posted.
"Taking your #AMAs excitement to new LEVELS. @nickjonas is PERFORMING!!! LIVE 11/22 on ABC. #NickJonasAMAs (sic)."
Shut up and Dance singers Walk the Moon will also play on the night. The band has been nominated for an AMA for the first time this year (15) with nods in the New Artist of the Year and Favorite Duo/Group: Pop/Rock categories. They are up against Fetty Wap, Sam Hunt, Tove Lo and The Weeknd for new artist and Maroon 5 and One Direction for pop/rock band.
Meanwhile Nick is up for the 2015 Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock gong. He goes head to head with Brits Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. None of the acts have taken to Twitter to confirm the news yet.
The newly announced singers join a line-up that already includes Selena Gomez, One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Jennifer Lopez and Carrie Underwood.
At the moment Taylor Swift is dominating the AMAs with six nods. Her pal Ed is hot on her heels with five nominations.
Jennifer will not only sing at the awards, she is also set to play host. She received her first AMA nomination back in 2000, performed at the ceremony for the first time in 2001 and won her first AMA in 2003.
