Demi Lovato: Ask Wilmer Valderrama if he's thinking about proposing!

Demi Lovato has "no idea" if her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama is planning to propose.

The 23-year-old singer and her 35-year-old boyfriend have been dating on and off since 2010, and she recently had to bat away rumours suggesting the pair had wed in secret.

The Cool For the Summer singer admits she is completely in the dark about Wilmer's romantic plans and would be completely surprised if her popped the question.

"You gotta ask him!" Demi told Entertainment Tonight when asked if an engagement is in her near future. "I have no idea."
Demi was asked about the relationship as she attended Billboard's 10th Annual Women in Music event in New York City on Friday (11Dec15).

Luckily for Wilmer, he knows that if he was to get down on one knee, Demi would jump at the chance to marry him.

"I am very, very (much) in love with him," Demi said during an interview with a radio station in New Zealand in July (15). "I think we will probably wait a little bit longer, but if he asked me tomorrow I would say yes."

Despite the age difference between them, Demi and Wilmer's relationship certainly appears capable of going the distance - the romance has already survived some difficulties, including Demi's rehab stint for "emotional and physical issues".

"We started dating when I turned 18... (and) right after that, I went to rehab," Demi told Cosmopolitan magazine in August (15). "People told him, 'You should probably leave. She's on a spiral, and you're going to be sucked down with it'. But he was like, 'I'm not leaving. This is somebody I really care about'."

Wilmer also opened up about his feelings for Demi during an interview with Ryan Seacrest that same month, telling the radio host he felt honoured to have been with Demi through the ups and downs of her life.

"I fell in love with the person that she really is, and at that time, she was going through a really interesting journey and I just happened to be there for that specific time," he said. "I was blessed to be there at the right time and in the right place to help out."
