DJ Sammy returns

The irrepressible DJ Sammy returns with another truly massive hit that's set to ignite the UK's airwaves & dance floors over the coming summer. Sammy's interpretation of Lennox's early 90's solo hit delivers all the smouldering emotion of the original, whilst turning up the heat for 2005 with his unmistakable Balearic sun-kissed beats. His debut Gold UK album ‘Heaven' conquered the world in 2003, with it's title track notching up a staggering 15 #1's across the globe from the UK right across to Australia - as well as reaching a phenomenal number #2 in the U.S which is a feat unmatched by any other dance artist since the early 90s.

Selling 400,000 copies, DJ Sammy's ‘Heaven' single shot straight to #1 in the UK, becoming a huge airplay record and was close to being the biggest single of the year. The huge follow up ‘Boy's Of Summer' reached #2 and propelled the album to over 100,000 UK sales paving the way for his third smash hit single ‘Sunlight'.

The last 2 years have seen Sammy tour the four corners of the world from the U.S.A and South America to as far a field as Australia & South East Asia. Summer Residencies have taken in the hotspots of Europe including: Ibiza â€" at his own packed night at Es Paradis; and Majorca - where his weekly event at BCM provides a near religious experience for club-goers, keeping him firmly in the hearts of British clubbing holiday makers.
