Drake has canceled a concert set for Saturday night (July 16) in Orlando Fla. due to a death in his family.
A rep for the 24-year-old rapper has issued the following statement: "We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family. He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know that he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support."
Universal Orlando has also posted an announcement on their official Facebook page, adding that, "There will be no substitute performance due to the last-minute nature of this development."
Drake, whose sophomore album "Take Care" is set for an Oct. 24 release, will take stage with Rick Ross and the Weeknd at his OVO Festival in Toronto on July 31.
