Drake has cancelled a concert following the death of his uncle, it has been reported.
The rapper, who was due to perform in Orlando, Florida, tomorrow night, has called off the highly-anticipated show to be at his family's side to mourn their loss.
The Canadian star ' real name Aubrey Drake Graham - is believed to be on his way to meet his loved ones.
"We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family," his spokesperson announced to US website TMZ. "He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know that he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support.'
Drake, whose lyrics featured in Rihanna's hit single What's My Name, will no doubt leave his many fans disappointed.
The Grammy-award winning musician is currently set to release his follow-up album entitled Take Care later this year. The Toronto rapper, whose debut album Thank Me Later went platinum upon its release, posted a new track Dreams Money Can Buy on his October's Very Own blog in May.
Last month another track from the album Marvin's Room was made available for fans to listen to.
