Drake Dropping New Single On Grammy Night

Grammy night will be a big one for Drake. Yes, the Young Money rapper is up for three awards, including Best Rap Album, on February 10, but he will also be dropping the first single from his upcoming third studio album on that night.

According to Billboard, "Started From the Bottom" will debut on the night of the 55th annual awards show. Though news on the disc, the follow-up to 2011's nearly double-platinum Take Care, is sparse, Cash Money Records co-CEO, Birdman, recently told the magazine that "Bottom" is the beginning of what he predicts will be a big year for Drizzy.

"This year we got something in store," he said. "We got a new record coming out this year. It's just one of those nights that, after seeing each other together, that'll be like the highlight of our night, the highlight of our life, the highlight of our year."

Drake hooked up with frequent collaborator Director X earlier this month in his native Toronto on the set of a video that could be for "Bottom."

And who knows? There might be even more music from Drake this year courtesy of Justin Timberlake.
 With JT plotting his comeback album in March, MTV looked into its musical Magic 8 Ball recently to speculate on which MCs the rhyme-loving singer might add to his canon of collaborators.

With Nelly, T.I., Timbaland and 50 Cent in his canon, is it possible that JT could tap Drake for a few bars? It would make sense, since the Young Money hitmaker could easily add some melody as well as verses, as he's done on Rihanna's "What's My Name" or Alicia Keys' "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)."
