Drake did not send members of his entourage to threaten a stripper, the dancer confirmed.
The rapper became embroiled in controversy when TMZ reported Jhonni Blaze called police after Drake allegedly threatened her following a sexual tryst between the pair, amid fears she would talk to the media.
But the woman, who dances at a Houston strip club, attempted to set the record straight on Tuesday, calling into local radio station 97.9 to apologise, according to MTV News.
"I would never talk about nobody and I don't have nothing bad to say about Drake," she said.
Jhonni did claim she got into an argument with the rapper, real name Aubrey Graham. But she insists that wasn't the reason she phoned authorities.
"I never called the police on Aubrey," she said. "I actually called the police because my friend came home and she said that some guys said that they were looking for me. So, I documented that for my protection and for some odd reason people were calling me looney."
Jhonni leaked text messages she claims were between herself and Drake after critics came forward insisting she doesn't know the rapper. And although she says there was a disagreement, she doesn't believe he sent anyone after her.
"I'm not about to exaggerate the story. Me and him were just kicking it, being cool," Jhonni said. "I went to his concert, I watched him perform. [We] were just supposed to be friends and we had some disagreements, some things were said, some threats were being made as far as argument and that was it….
"This man did not send nobody for me. I just felt that it was weird that it happened at the time me and him got into it.
"I did what was right as a woman and just filed a police report for my safety, in case something happened to me. I apologise to the whole staff and whoever works with Drake. I apologise from my heart."
