Get the streamers and those ridiculous glittery glasses ready. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2011" is set to ring in the New Year with a star-studded lineup. Hosted by Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest, Jenny McCarthy and Fergie, the ABC event will feature performances from Drake, Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, Avril Lavigne and Train live from New York and Los Angeles.
The musical and holiday celebration, which kicks off at 10 p.m. ET, will also include appearances from Willow Smith, Jason Derülo, La Roux, Mike Posner, Natasha Bedingfield and Far East Movement. Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie will host the Hollywood portion of the bi-coastal celebration, while Seacrest and McCarthy report live from Times Square. Keeping with tradition, Clark will be counting down to midnight from the inside of ABC studios.
Seacrest, who began hosting the event after Clark suffered a stroke in 2004, said in a statement that he invited McCarthy to join in on the festivities after remembering the former "Singled Out" co-host's broadcasting skills. "I was reminded how great Jenny is at live broadcasting when she recently stopped by my radio show. That day, with Dick's blessing, I invited her to join us in Times Square!"
The "American Idol" host isn't the only one looking forward to McCarthy's inclusion in the celebration this year. "Jenny is a great addition to this year's show," Larry Klein, producer of the special, said. "She is funny, relatable and high energy, and she will be great with our New Year's crowd, Ryan and Dick."
