Justin Timberlake has become the king of the feature, appearing on hit tracks with everyone from T.I. ("Dead and Gone") and Rihanna ("Rehab") to Madonna ("4 Minutes") and Timbaland ("Carry Out"). Now, it seems he's about to expand his collaboration list with one of the biggest names in the game.
Drake revealed that he and the singer are cooking something up. "One thing that's in the works — this is exclusive, this is a moment — one thing that I haven't mentioned to anybody yet but will right now. I've always wanted to work with him and it's in the works right now; me and Justin Timberlake will probably have a song soon," the rapper teased to RapRadar.com.
While there are no details about the track, Drake did share his feelings about the collaboration. "I'm really excited about that, 'cause I've wanted to work with Justin for a long time," he said. "And we've recently talked about it, and I think we're going to make it happen."
Drake isn't a newbie when it comes to cameos either. In his meteoric rise to fame, he's worked with a number of artists, including Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Alicia Keys and Trey Songz, to name a few.
While Timberlake has found his most recent success on the big screen, thanks to "The Social Network," he did hit the stage last month at the Shriners Hospitals For Children benefit concert, where he performed an acoustic medley of songs, including his "Cry Me a River," the Bill Withers classic "Ain't No Sunshine" and a verse from Drake's "Over."
As for any solo music from the singer, Timberlake said he's waiting for the right inspiration to hit him. "You know, music is ... music exploration, I find that when it comes up ... it comes up like a freight train," he told earlier this year. "So when it does, I definitely won't run from it."
