The Star Wars star has been an ambassador for UNICEF for many years and is the face of a new TV appeal asking for fans to try and donate something to help the children of east Africa that are suffering from a drought.
He revealed that £20million is needed to bring supplies to the area.
In a new clip from the promo, he said: 'In just one refugee camp in Kenya, there are nearly half a million people in urgent need of food, water and basic healthcare.
'The situation throughout the region is becoming more and more critical; the threat of starvation is very real... Five pounds does not go far here in the UK but for a child in east Africa it could be the difference between life and death.'
