For the first time, leading holiday company First Choice brought its famous All Inclusive experience to British shores at the UK's favourite family festival, Camp Bestival, to celebrate the best of summer music.
X Factor duo Reggie 'n' Bollie opened the Holiday Island stage with a session of chart-topping hits, including a performance of their debut single 'New Girl'. Founder of the Dorset-based festival, DJ Rob da Bank, also wowed the crowd behind the decks, as he closed the weekend with some summer tunes.
Visitors to the First Choice Holiday Island kicked back on a real-life beach, complete with cocktails, palm trees and deckchairs. The holiday company also brought its Holiday Villages resort entertainment programme to life. Well-loved characters The Widgets performed, while the specialist Stage Academy team taught little ones the moves to the latest hits. The Kids' Club team also recreated the family fun of Holiday Villages with face-painting and circus skills.
The partnership with Camp Bestival marks the climax of First Choice's Summer of Music. As part of the partnership, the British public were invited to share their favourite summer tracks for a chance to win family tickets to the festival. Winners were also able to DJ over the weekend, celebrating the best tunes with a 'DJ-off' in First Choice's Summer Sessions.
Jeremy Ellis, Marketing and Customer Experience Director for First Choice, said: "Camp Bestival has proved be the perfect partner to help us champion summer music. It's brought a taste of the All Inclusive Holiday Villages experience to the UK for the first time, for festival-goers to enjoy. Music plays an important part of the holiday mix and evokes memories of happy times. We hope visitors to First Choice Holiday Island enjoyed the first-class entertainment, and took some great musical memories away with them."
First Choice Holiday Island was hosted at Camp Bestival, Lulworth Castle in Dorset between Friday 29 and Sunday 31 July.
