Overview
Fountains of Wayne will release a new album titled Traffic and Weather, on April 3 via Virgin Records. The first single from the record, "Someone to Love," will hit radio in late February. The disc is their 5th album and the proper follow-up to 2003's Welcome Interstate Managers which featured the hit single "Stacy's Mom."
The new album was produced by bassist Adam Schlesinger and mixed by Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Pet Shop Boys) and John Holbrook (Rufus Wainwright, Ivy). Holbrook also mixed FOW's 2005 b-sides compilation Out-Of-State Plates.
