Foxboro Hot Tubs will play West Hollywood's The Roxy on May 27th.
Green Day, um, sorry, Foxboro Hot Tubs, popped up under the mild-mannered guise of an indie American garage rock band in December 2007.
However, with the unique Billie Joe Armstrong vocals and phrasings and the drum and bass backing of Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, this wasn't going to be an act capable of hiding for long under a pseudonym.
In December at the Foxboro Hot Tubs website, the band released the free download of the EP 'Stop Drop and Roll' and were pretty much outed as Green Day immediately.
They eventually owned up.
On May 20, they will release the album 'Stop Drop and Roll'.
As well as the Roxy show, Foxboro Hot Tubs will perform on:
May 19, Little Rock, AR, Juanita's Cantina
May 20, New Orleans, LA, One Eyed Jacks
May 21, Dallas, TX, The Loft
May 22nd, Austin, TX, Emo's
May 25th, Phoenix, AZ The Brick House
May 26th, San Diego, CA, Soma
May 27th, Los Angeles, CA, The Roxy
May 28th, Long Beach, CA, Alex's Bar
