Frank Ocean to headline Hove Festival, Norway

Hove Festival and Festival Republic are happy to announce Frank Ocean as one out of four headliners for Hove 2013.

The Grammy winning artist has over the last two years positioned himself as one of the most original stars in our time and Hove is one of a few exclusive festival shows he will be performing in Europe this summer.

Frank Ocean has since his breakthrough in 2011 developed into one of the most influencal acts in urban music and won two Grammy Awards in February. His debut album, "Channel Orange", went straight to the top in the Norwegian charts when released in July, 2012.

The album was recurring on top of the critics' "Album of The Year"-lists, among them The Guardian, Los Angeles Times, Spin and The New York Times.

Hove Festival 2013 will take place from 2nd of July – 5th of July, in beautiful surroundings on the island of Tromøya, situated on the south coast of Norway.

Other artists confirmed so far are among others Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, A$AP Rocky, Phoenix, The Script, Crystal Castles, Bullet for My Valentine, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Modestep, The Luminners, Volbeat, 2 Chainz, Enter Shikari and Jake Bugg.
