"Jessie's Girl" is the # 1 Mainstream Indie single in the US, according to MediaBase radio charts.
The single debuted on the Billboard Single Sales chart at # 9 and rose up to # 2 where it stayed for an entire month, just out of reach of Destiny's Child. Next up was the release of the single to radio, where it was the # 2 Most Added song at Top 40 Radio in its first week.
The video, which stars Rick Springfield, make its pre-cable teaser debut at VH-1.com and within one day, became # 3 most requested video, above J-Lo, Green Day and Destiny's Child.
Also at VH-1.com, Frickin' A is exercising crowd control on Grade A, the online version of TRL where viewers vote for their favorites, and every week an artist is eliminated until the last band standing.
