Gang Of Four support act announced

The Departure have been announced as the support act for post punk legends Gang Of Four on their reunion tour later this month.

Gang Of Four have enjoyed a critical revival in recent years with new bands like The Futureheads, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand citing them as a massive influence.

Now, the original line-up of Jon King, Andy Gill, Dave Allen and Hugo Burnham have succumbed to public demand and will reunite for the first time since 1981 for a string of British dates.

Birmingham Academy (27)
London Shepherd's Bush Empire (28)
