Jailed pop star Gary Glitter will be deported from Vietnam when he is released from prison next week.
The convicted pedophile has been given a one-way ticket to the UK and will leave for England when he is released from jail after serving three years for the sexual assault of two underage Vietnamese girls.
Glitter, aka Paul Gadd, will be personally escorted by a British official from the Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City from jail and onto the aircraft.
The singer was charged with lewdness with the two children who were aged 11 and 12 at the time.
Once back in England, Glitter will be once again a free man. The British courts have no further plans to prosecute the singer.
