George Michael has been cautioned for cannabis possession after being arrested yesterday (October 1).
The singer was arrested on Sunday afternoon after motorists called police to report a car causing an obstruction at traffic lights in Cricklewood, north London.
Police confirmed that the driver was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive and drug possession.
They called an ambulance and Michael was taken to a west London hospital as a "precautionary measure" after being arrested.
Michael was then cautioned and released on police bail pending further inquiries, BBC NEWS reports.
A Scotland Yard spokesman explained: "At approximately 3.22am on Sunday morning officers were informed of a staionary vehicle with a driver inside causing an obstruction at traffic lights in Cricklewood Lane near its junction with Hendon Way, NW2.
"Officers arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of being unfit to drive and possession of a controlled substance believed to be cannabis."
As previously reported, Michael began his first tour for 15 years in Barcelona last Saturday (September 23).document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
