George Michael has been hurt in a car crash.
The pop singer was airlifted to hospital with a head injury following the incident on the M1 motorway in the UK at 5.50pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson for the 49-year-old star confirmed that Michael was a passenger in a Range Rover and that no other vehicles were involved.
The BBC reports that the singer sustained "superficial cuts" and was "fine".
"George Michael was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic accident yesterday evening. No third party was involved," Connie Filippello, George's spokesperson said. "We have no further comment at this time."
Another man was flown by air ambulance to a specialist trauma centre in London.
Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson added:
"A man who we believe to be in his 40s sustained a head injury and following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown to hospital for further care."
Hertfordshire Police said the northbound carriageway of the road was closed for an hour while emergency services dealt with the incident.
"The exact circumstances of what happened are unclear at this time and until further investigations have been carried out it would be inappropriate for us to comment further," a police spokesman said.
In 2010 Michael received an eight-week jail sentence for crashing his Range Rover while under the influence of cannabis.
He was banned from driving for five years and fined £1,250.
Following his release he told reporters that he wanted to "start again".
