Overview
George Michael is to release a new version of his recent Christmas single, titled 'December Song'.
The track will be released for download on 13th December and will be available in hard copy at a later date. It will be the first Christmas song he has released for 25 years, since his 'Last Christmas' hit with Wham!
The track was available to download last year, for free on the stars website, but this year Michael seems to be aiming for bigger and better things, he's set to be a mentor on the X Factor and to perform the new release, in a bid to boost sales to help the track make it to Christmas number one.
But as always there's fierce competition for the Christmas top spot, he'll go head to head in a chart battle with other artists such as Robbie Williams and this year's X Factor winner.
